Use Alarms to Stay Dry

Bed wetting can be prevented by the judicious use of bed wetting alarms which trigger of on detection of moisture release by the bladder.  These alarms are equally effective for children and adults. Bed wetting is an embarrassing situation for the children and even more for the adults. It can have long term psychological and emotional problems unless resolved fast and effectively. Bed wetting alarms come to the rescue of the child as well as the adult.

A bed wetting alarm is a simple battery operated device which is based on the detection of moisture. As the bladder leaks and urine is release the alarm is triggered. It uses either sound or vibrations to wake up the user and gives him a chance to go to the toilet to relieve the bladder.  Normally the child or the adult is made to wear the bed wetting alarm fitted in the under garments.  However the alarm get triggered only after some urine is leaked by the body, so care must be taken to soak the leaked urine by use of absorbent material such as diapers. 

Bed wetting alarms do not cure bed wetting on their own. The wearer of this alarm must utilize the alarm signals to react and visit the toilet. Regular use of the alarm results in the body getting trained to understand the symptoms of a full bladder and gradually the person develops control on his bladder and this ultimately cures the problem. Alarms are just an aid, the efforts has to come from the person using the alarm. This alarm will be only as good as the person’s efforts to prevent the bed wetting.

The bed wetting alarm come in different shapes and sizes but car must be taken that it is capable of waking a person from deep slumber otherwise the desired results will not be achieved.
